Our patented system incorporates an age method, whereas the more pressure applied to the tensioner, the more it constricts. Fully tightening any of our products, may require you to slightly lower your outriggers, to release pressure on the tensioner, so you can let the tag line out.

.Our gunwale mount product works will all side mounted outriggers.
For boats with top mounted outriggers, depending on your preference, either the gunwale mount or T-Top/Hardtop mount work. Pro Tip: If you’re replacing the bungee cord system attached to your boat’s gunwale, use our gunwale mount, because you won’t need to alter you’re existing halyard lines.
If this is a new install, either product will work. The difference is the T-Top/Hardtop Mount allows you to move completely around the boat from stern to stern, obstacle free. To do this on a boat with the gunwale mount installed, you have to pass the rod around the halyard lines. This is completely your preference, as gunwale mount systems have been used with great success on boats for years.
For top mounted center riggers our center rigger shock cord is perfect.
Yes, we sized our products to work with 400 lb. mono which is typically used for halyard lines. If the release clips work properly, they should open, way before there is enough pressure to break any of the components in the halyard circuit.
Rupp, Gemlux, Hal-Lock, Bluewing, also Ronstan and Harken pulleys equipped with loops.
We recommend you wash them with soap while washing your boat, and rinse with clean water. An occasional drop of light weight oil on the clip pins is also a good idea.
